HEATHER WINTERS

Hey there,

Heather Winters here to chat with you about the mission and vision of Mountain View Children’s Church.  But first, a little background about myself.

I am a born and raised Ramona Girl. I grew up in this small town in a house full of love and laughter, but more importantly one that was centered on Jesus. After high school I attended and graduated from San Diego Christian College with a degree in Education and a minor in Bible.

It was actually here at Mountain View where I met and married my husband Jason Winters, and together we are raising our 4 beautiful daughters, so I guess you can say I am very much invested in our children’s program.

I have always had a passion for Children’s Ministry. In grade school I served in the drama ministry and helped in the preschool classes. In college I became a Sunday School teacher and as an adult I shifted my career path and God led me into making Children’s Ministry my mission.

With our morning & evening Sunday School Programs, Vacation Bible School, Summer Camp, Harvest Festival, Christmas Program,  Africa Missions & supply drives, parenting classes and keeping in touch with parents through social media , you can see we are busy bees on campus. I couldn’t do any of it without my partner in ministry, Hannah Hogan, and our amazing Children’s Ministry Staff.

I love the expression “it takes a village to raise a child.” Here at Mountain View Children’s Church we hope to be that village and support for you. Our vision is to educate, inspire and encourage our children to know Christ and to raise up disciples. Our mission is to partner with parents in raising children who live and love like Jesus.  We are here to be a support for you parents, to equip you with the resources you need to take what we learn on Sundays and put it into action at home.

If you have any questions about our program or would like to join our Children’s Ministry Team please contact me at heather.winters@mvccramona.org

Blessings,

Heather Winters
