ERIC CLARKE

Greetings and Salutations! My name is Eric Clarke and I have the honor of being the Lead Pastor of Mountain View Community Church.

I came to faith in Christ in June of 1973. I was a 14 year old runaway staying in a shelter home staffed by a group of loving Believers who shared with me the grace and peace God gives us through His Son, Jesus Christ. They explained to me that no matter how bad my past was, God still loves me and offers forgiveness through the sacrifice of Christ’s death on my behalf. God graciously opened my eyes to the truth and I received Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord.

My lovely bride, Tammy, and I have been married since August of 1979 (35+ years at this writing). We have three children, all grown. I am grateful for a full and loving family!

As for time outside of ministry, you will usually find me dating my wife, golfing, whitewater rafting, doing photography, or traveling (when possible). It is an especially good time when I can combine two or more of my interests!

I have had the privilege of serving in ministry for about the past 26 years. Western Seminary is where I received my formal educational training for ministry.

It is a privilege to serve with great staff and leadership here at Mountain View. I have found the people of this church to be caring, warm, friendly and graceful. Tammy and I are indeed blessed to belong to this wonderful church family.
