SEAN HOGAN

Hello my name is Sean Patrick Hogan, and I am blessed to be the Youth Pastor at MVCC.

I have been a part of Mountain View Community Church for literally my whole life. I was born on February 18th, 1990 in San Diego. 3 months later my family moved to Ramona.

I started my own personal relationship with Christ when I was 9 years old at a winter camp. Since then God has been molding me into a vessel to be used by Him.

In June of 2004 I was in a bicycle vs. car accident (I was on the bike) that could have easily taken my life, but I survived by the grace of God and realized that His work for me on this earth was not done yet.

I attended youth group every Tuesday and Sunday all the way through High School. During that time I was part of the Student Leadership Program at the Church and actually discipled a Jr. High student in the Youth Group. After High School, I decided to stay and work as a volunteer leader for the group and lead a Jr. High small group.

After High School, I attended San Diego Christian College to work on my Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Science (basically to become a pilot). 3 years later I switched Majors to Biblical Studies with an emphasis in Youth Ministry. During my school I became the High School Youth Intern at Grace Point Church in Del Mar for a year, and now I am back at my home church!

I married my wife, Hannah, on April 28th, 2012. 3 years later we welcomed our daughter, Lana, into the world.  Our family is excited to serve at MVCC, growing closer to God and His people.
